I have decided to create a web presence, which is only appropriate, considering I am involved in a number of ongoing projects. This way, you can get updates on what’s going on with my life, and updates on my ongoing projects.
A little background on me (you can find more in-depth information about me by clicking on the “About Me’ page up top. My day job is Office Manager at a super-regional shopping center. I handle the following responsibilities: office management, payroll administration, local technical support, assist in planning and implementation of marketing events and projects, handle local human resources responsibilities, and I am involved to varying degrees in daily day to day activities of the operations and security departments. And that’s on top of supervising a receptionist.
I am a college graduate, with a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Network Administration. I have been involved in a number of organizations, both recently and in college. I founded and headed a social activities group hosting nearly 50+ events monthly for over 1600+ members. I have been involved with student organizations hosting two collegiate conferences, and provided an advisory role in the preparation of a third.
I have also had experience with grass roots movements while interning with NYPIRG, and with state government while interning in the New York State Assembly. My professional experience is varied, providing me with a broad background of knowledge in the real estate development, real estate property management, retail, sales, marketing, finance, insurance, collegiate education, and informational technology fields. I also have experience in web design, development, and publishing, including creating a military history discussion website, and a new current events and issues blog.
Additionally, in the course of my work career and educational/extracurricular activities, I’ve been exposed to or have garnered experience in a number of other industries. These industries include advertising, agriculture, exhibit design & management, event planning, food service & hospitality, fundraising, legal, marketing, music industry, non-profit, real estate sales, restaurant business, sales, telemarketing, and women’s fashion.
I have also been involved with independent consulting on helping develop business ideas, entrepreneurial ventures, career and education advisement, life/relationship guidance, web presence development, and computer technical support. My broad work, education, and independent consulting experience have all provided me a lifetime of experience, which I am always happy to share. For those who are new entrepreneurs in the business world, I am happy to provide my business development and organizational management consultation free of charge.
